Le Café de flore

Le Café de Flore is a safe bet–authentic, true and for me the real Saint Germain! You’re always running into friends there, and there’s always a lot happening if you take time to sit and watch. Perfect before a tour at le Montana!

Cafe de Flore / 172 Boulevard Saint-Germain

Broken Arm

A new concept store in le Marais–a place where you can buy the latest pair of Carven shoes or order le plat du jour made with love. A prominent spot near my place, in front of le Square du Temple–bright, avant garde, friendly. A good place to chill all afternoon.

Le Silencio

After descending the strange staircase, guests at le Silencio are plunged into a very particular world, far from the usual Parisian cancans. I’m not just saying this because I mix there, but there is an excellent musical selection–very eclectic–which really varies according to the DJs.

Le Beefclub

With its 60’s decor, and located in the heart of la rue Jean Jacques Rousseau, le Beefclub is THE only restaurant which makes me want to eat meat–English meat smoked and baked in a coal oven. A real delight!!!

Higuma

A succulent Japanese restaurant located on the rue Saint Anne, where we can savor ramen and the best gyozas in Paris (in my opinion)! The decor resembles that of a big canteen, but the contents of my plate make me forget any snobbishness of the decor.

La grande épicerie

Because every time I go to Saint Germain (I live in le Marais) I can’t keep myself from coming back with my arms full! I always want to buy everything! Particularly the American products–you can find cookies and sweets there that you can’t find anywhere else.
