The story of Rouge 58 started in Williamsburg, the hipster heart of NYC. Opened in 2010 by Munich-born Nadja Nebas, Rouge 58 was a gallery with programs that included exhibitions, movie nights, and fashion presentations, hosted by New York figures like Justin Miller or Prince Language (DFA records).

Closed in November 2011, the gallery is making a new start in Paris. The ground floor houses a café corner with Oslo coffee imported directly from Brooklyn and a cool selection of art books and magazines, such as Acne Paper, Apartamento, 032c, and Double. On the first floor, there’s a gallery space for shows lasting 2-3 months. The first show was a presentation of Ruvan Wijesooriya’s new book « LCD».
