Rouge58 gallery just moved to the charming rue de Paradis, in the 10th Arrondissement next to Poissonière Metro. On two levels , there’s a boutique selling art and design books, a café for hot chocolate, for the gourmands, and rotating exhibitions every few months. Nadja Nebas surprised us again with an exhibition of the charming collection of photos taken by the York photographer Ruvan Wijesooriya. Ruvan’s book “LCD,” available at the gallery, is a ‘best of’ selection of photos taken over seven years documenting the celebrated, and recently disbanded, LCD Soundsystem electro punk band. The pictures are amazing. The book can be had for 32 Euros and an original photo for 10€. Too bad for you, I bought the best one the first night and one and all had a great time at Le Baron for the after.
