Over the course of the last year, conversations surrounding gender expression have gained considerable momentum, as the line between the traditional male and female binaries grow increasingly blurred and the cultural landscape begins to shift, and that ‘gender no longer defines a person as much as it used to. In the fashion industry, this shift is gaining visibility through the crossover of menswear, womenswear and collections by designer labels to highstreet brands. Alter is born out of the idea of a shared wardrobe and to slowly focus on the unisex market, who aims to become a precursor and a reference as a unisex brand.
