Konbini is the Japanese word for “convenience store” but it’s also the name of an online digital channel that broadcasts creative and fun content, including short & inspiring videos introducing indie artists and video clips curated by special guests or covering ironically irrelevant events. They also occasionnally throw memorable parties.

We naturally thought about them to bring us a list of the places they like to hang out in Paris when they are not in the election of miss chubby, following Brodinski in a studio in Brooklyn, or chilling on youtube.

Bobs Juice Bar
http://www.bobsjuicebar.com/
Bobs Juice Bar is where you’ll find Konbini staff at lunchtime. Sister shop to Bob’s Kitchen in the Marais, Bob’s Juice bar is a tiny cafe just by Jacques Bonsergent, a stone’s throw away from the Konbini offices at Republique. Bob’s juice bar has one soup, one salad, one bagel, and one smoothie/juice per day, but don’t let the small choice put you off, all the food is incredible there !

Aux 2 amis
If we feel like a sit-down lunch we go to Aux 2 amis by Oberkampf. The food is excellent and always surprising, the wines are perfect and the staff are friendly!

La gaité Lyrique
http://www.gaite-lyrique.net
La gaité lyrique is where we filmed our recent web-series “I Want To Skate” when there was a skating exhibition on co-curated by Morgan Bouvant from Konbini. La gaité is close to the office and so it’s great to pop there after work to see a gig or an exhibition. And the Amusement store is also great to go buy last minute fun gifts!

Favela Chic
http://www.favelachic.com
Favela Chic is just underneath our offices, so naturally we pop in from time to time for after work mojitos or to watch some DJ friends. We kind of liked its shabby appearance, however recently it expanded and the decors changed. But it’s still lively and we’re happy to share the same building!

Social Club / Silencio
The Konbini team spend a lot of time at Social Club, often to watch our staff djing e.g Guillaume Berg at his night jerkin’n’out or to Arthur Kings’ night voulez-vous? rendez-vous?

La Perle
We often go for fries and champagne at La Perle! Classy! La Perle is always busy since it’s on a popular corner but that doesn’t put us off! Happy Konbini memories lay there.
