Take a pretty girl, with some je-ne-sais-quoi of Birkinesque nonchalance, add to this an indeniable sense of style, a succesful blog, and have the epitome of hype, aka Olivier Zahm, as Pygmalion. Well, that’s more or less the portrait of 19-year-old parisian « it » girl Jeanne Damas. And she’s a « it » girl with a « it » list. Wanna eat like her, dress like her, look like her ? Well, follow her…

Chez Philou

One of my favourite restaurant is actually my dad’s, Chez Philou, near the Canal St Martin. The food is what you could called « new bistrot », traditionnal but revisited. Everytime I go, I order the same thing : foie gras with crunchy green beans for starter, then rumsteak and vegetables, with some Morgon Marcel Lapierre wine, my favorite.

Morry’s

And for lunch, I go indulge at Morry’s. It’s just like in New York, tasty bagels, yummy carrot cake, brick walls. It’s quite small and often crowded but it’s worth it.

The Bottle shop

To get drinks with my friends, I always go to The Bottle Shop bar. There’s always a lot of foreign people there cause there’s an international youth hostel just across the street, so it’s cool and festive, like an English bar.

Le Penty

Le Penty is also a place I like to hang. There’s nothing fancy about it, very basic local bar, but their mint tea is awesome and it’s just across the Marché d’Aligre. I love going to this market, it’s open every day, and in the Market Hall, there is so many good stuff, like the Italian caterer. It’s so great to have this just near my place, it’s perfect to go grocery shopping.

Studio 34

For my hair, I go to Studio 34. It’s very nice and chic, in a calm and peaceful inner courtyard, next to Place Vendome. I actually cut my hair myself so I don’t go for haicuts,  but for haircolor. Ask for Jean Luc, he’s amazing, he used to work with Christophe Robin. It’s a bit pricey but if you feel like having a makeover (with someone who really knows what he’s doing, obviously), go there !

Hippy Market

When it comes to shopping, I’m a big fan of Hippy Market. Whenever I go, I just can’t  help myself, I need to buy something. It’s a vintage Aladdin’s cave, they have the same suppliers as Kiliwatch, but it’s cheaper.
