During the daytime from 27th February – 1st March 2018 The Lounge at #PFW was hosted by Model Village at the popular club BoumBoum in central Paris. Fashion models visited the pop-up (much like several Victoria Secret models) to discover an amazing array of exclusive perks including meditation, facials, luxury goodie bags, a fashion wardrobe, delicious food, hair styling and more!
So what is Model Village? Model Village is an influencer marketing platform offering premium influence solutions for brands to collaborate with highly engaged models on Instagram. It is the first global community for fashion models and provides members with exclusive perks and privileges in London, New York and Paris!
Now what went on in the space? This season Model Village teamed up with fashion brands The Kooples, Eastpak and Partykini to provide fashion models with an exclusive “Fashion Wardrobe” to help inspire their spring/summer looks. They were then able to capture these awesome looks in the photobooth and share on their socials! Eastpak gave the models the opportunity to win one of their limited edition backpacks with Kitsune by entering their competition within the space. Naher were also present to style the models’ hair using the latest Supersonic hairdryers by Dyson. Another competition even gave them a chance to take home their very own Supersonic dryer. Models were then given a chance to relax within a Zen Cocoon, with meditating by Li Lumière who used light and sound technology to revive and refresh the models. There was also a Beauty Parlour by Lili Margo offering facial treatments and beauty advice. Rude Manners, gourmet healthy restauranter was also at The Lounge at PFW, offering models healthy snacks and smoothies to help them keep fuelled and energised – while Shaka Poké provided their signature Hawaïan bowls!
Perks such as these are extremely popular amongst fashion models, who are often found running around the streets of Paris and fashion capitals during this hectic show season! The Lounge at #PFW provided the perfect location for models to relax and network, sharing unique advice and industry tips. “Events such as these allow models to discover new brands and share these organic interests on Instagram, promoting new products they love to their engaged followers – this is gold for marketing professionals” comments William Soulier, founder of Model Village.
