This French saying could perfectly be applied to Rafael Alterio, a young illustrator and ESAG Penninghen / Atelier Beaux-Arts Paris graduate.
After his first solo exhibition in 2011, inspired by his stay in New York, he comes back with NOIR, a series of illustrations presented at Rouge 58 gallery.
At the opening, the prestigious crowd was transported by the narrative dimension of Alterio’s artwork.
