Mix En Bouche came back this Saturday with its newest edition at Café A at the Maison de l’Architecture. On the menu: shrimp wontons from dim sum experts Yoom; spicy samosas from Anissa; bruschetta with mozzarella, tomato, and basil cream from Café A; sweet and savoury waffles from Adelaide & Bertrand. However, celebrity chef Abdel Alaoui’s crowd-pleasing “black burger,” with its squid-ink bun, was easily the biggest hit of the night. With slick beats and good eats, who says Parisians don’t eat?
