This small “bar de nuit” (i.e., ex whorehouse) located not far from the Champs Elysées proposes an interesting alternative to the nightlife in the area: not a giant club with a flashy entrance, but an intimate, hidden club, where you’ll have to ring the bell to get in.

Based on the idea of a London-style members club, it’s a cozy place for socializing, networking, or just relaxing with a glass of cognac while listening to the edgy music spun by the DJ.
There’s no cocktail menu, but Ugo–one of the owners–is one of the most famous bartenders in town. He’ll serve up precisely the drink you’re in the mood for (just a beer or something more fancy), or will go right ahead and prepare your favorite cocktail without a word if you’re a regular.

The fumoir, which is more like a living room with its 50’s vintage wood furniture, is a place you want to stay and take your time to enjoy your cohiba.
And on the wall, there’s a big shelf with art books and small personal locker boxes where regular customers can leave their cognac bottles for the next day.
Definitely a place to start a night or to finish a 25h long day.

hmm… Some secret sport parties could happen there, but don’t tell.
