Specialty coffee scene in South Pigalle
Since opening its doors in December 2010, Kooka Boora has already created a buzz amongthe bobo clientele of the 9th and coffee connoisseurs in search of the best ‘long black’or ‘flat white’ in town. The café’s owners serve up salads, sandwiches, smoothies, juices, muffins, and cakes, made in-house from fresh ingredients, while artful baristas turn out lattemasterpieces that smell and taste as good as they look. The free wifi, ceiling-high windows, charming patio, and laid-back atmosphere have quickly made this corner coffeeshop/eaterynestled at the top of the boutique-lined Rue des Martyrs a great spot to unwind and people-watch in the trendy South Pigalle neighbourhood. Grab a cappuccino to-go (yes, to-go) orbetter yet, sink into a comfy armchair and look on as starry-eyed guests wander out of thefamous Hotel Amour, located just a few steps away. Brunch menu on weekends.
