Guide for successful partying during the Paris fashion week

The Paris SS 2011 fashion week from Tuesday September 28 to the October promises to be eventful. During this week in Paris, there will be 91 catwalks and an impressive number of official and un-official parties and aftershows. For these reasons the Ten Days in Paris team has decided to deliver you some good plans in order avoid getting lost in this week of debauchery.

Our favorite parties:

Wednesday September 29

Aftershow Gareth Pugh with the Ponystep team at Chacha.

The young and talented English designer Gareth Pugh with his friends from Ponystep are taking over le Chacha.
Ponystep are extravagant parties packed with fashionistas.

Or

Aftershow Andrea Crews at Chez Moune

Andrea Crews is a collective that makes clothing from recycled, flashy and 80s-inspired outfits. They might make us stay awake till dawn.
Live and Djs sets will be following in the former lesbian cabaret from 11p.

Where to go during fashion week

Le Baron: No need to be introduced, for the past five years the former bordello has been the place to gather for celebrities from fashion, music, cinema…

Le Montana: The Left Bank little brother of le Baron in size but not in crowd is one of the hotspots of the Parisian night, especially during fashion week. A high probability of seeinf Beigbeder or a Lagarfeld with a group of models. The door is a bit picky so be prepared.

Le Chacha : This is a hushed and intimate spot in les Halles area. During fashion week some prestigious aftershows will take place there (Sonia Rykiel, Gareth Pugh…)

Cointreau Privé : Pop up bar in a splendid place once owned by the Hermes family. Perfect to have a drink in good company before going to an after show or a fashion week party.

La Fidelite : This pretty brasserie owned by le Baron team has a small and cozy basement, perfect for enjoying a glass of cheap wine and dancing. Especially during this fashion week.
