Southern Italy meets downtown Manhattan in a pizzeria by day, cocktail bar by night

The folks behind concept store Merci and its cantine in the Marais bring you one more thing to be thankful for with their newest outpost, a hybrid pizza restaurant/cocktail bar. In the kitchen, a rotating pizza oven turns out a solid menu of rustic Italian fare, including simple classics such as the ‘margherita’ or the ‘pizza bianca’ and a few surprises like the ‘pizza del baffetto’, covered in chocolate cream and hazelnut spread (save room for dessert). At the bar, mixologists sample twists on bellinis alongside herb-infused martinis, just a few of the many offerings on the bar’s impressive cocktail list. The restaurant’s industrial decor, exposed loft-style space, and eccentric details create an ambiance more reminiscent of the Lower East Side than the Northern Marais, though authentic pizzas and inventive cocktails keep a steady Parisian crowd coming back to this one-stop shop for dinner and drinks. Happy hour drink specials on weekdays, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
