After seven years on the internet, cult online magazine, MessyNessyChic, has entered the world of publishing with the ultimate bible to Paris unknown. Celebrating the launch of her first book, “Don’t be a Tourist in Paris”, founder and editor of the Paris-based site, Vanessa Grall, held her launch party at La Galcante, a vintage press archive and bonafide treasure trove hiding down a passage near the Louvre. With core Parisian content creators and influencers coming together in the archive’s courtyard at sunset, providing the soundtrack for the evening were Saint Germain’s favourite jazz buskers, Ze Buci Bees. Kristin Frederick (of Camion qui Fume & Greenhouse) held down the bruschetta bar with Poilane Bakery. Of course the night wouldn’t have been the same without the endless flow of ice cold ones from Corona. “Don’t be a Tourist in Paris” is available to order on book.messynessychic.com
