Red Bull is often behind some of the coolest parties, and over the last couple of years they have put on some interesting art exhibitions, too. In their quirky little gallery split into two separate spaces, Red Bull hosted the opening of an exhibition entitled *FM*, by the collective* //DIY*, a trio of graphic designers.
With *FM*, these three Swiss graphic designers are showcasing some of their best stuff, all of it relating in some way to their love of music. Some of the pieces are straightforwardly music-related, whereas some take a more abstract approach.
We loved the ethereal photographs of a musician’s electric guitar suspended in a wreath of curling smoke, and the artsy monochrome posters for performances and club nights. Some of the more abstract works seem to convey the ebb and flow of music such as in delicate dot and line drawings, or in circular  images of multicoloured gloop that seemed to pulsate. Lots of opportunity for pretentious arty conversations with hot graphic designer types.
