When you think of Strasbourg St Denis, “chill” and “relax” aren’t exactly the words that come to your mind in the first place.
“L\Inconnu”, “Jeannette” and “Mauri7″ are more likely to be the one you think of, along with “drink”, “dance” and “total-mess-the-next-morning”.
Well, think again because the area finally has its own little quiet spot where you can go with friends to sit and gossip about your last evening of, precisely, drinking and dancing, around some hot mint tea, yummy baklavas and a stack of magazines. The Daily Syrien is all that and a little bit more: pretty titled floor, vintage furniture, international press (and yeah, Vogue, Jalouse, Voici and all that…), fresh mint, delicious sandwiches, from the light and vegetarian labneh to the filling extra falafel or beef and chicken chawarma, kind service, tiny prices and big taste. We’re already addicted.
