<p>Three years after their first collaboration, @VEJA and @Bleu de Paname team up again to launch two pairs of VEJA X BLEU DE PANAME. On Thursday the 18th of April we’ve celebrated the launch of the collaboration at our store Centre Commercial, rue de Marseille. The evening was a full success, also thanks to our partners Deck &amp; Donohue, Wild and the Moon, Dodo Cookies &amp; co, cool DJ Sims and to BLOW PRJCT for the hip-hop performance.</p>

<p>Yesterday the Parisian Concept Store Centre Commercial celebrated the Launching party of Holubar and the start of the exclusive pop-up in their boutique from the 15th of November until the 29th of November ! Last night was all about great vibes, cool music and tasty drinks, putting the spotlight on the latest collection of Holubar including their jacket of the collaboration with the Italian brand The Editor, which will be sold in France exclusively at Centre Commercial.</p>

<div>The third edition of Focus Paris took place in the beautiful loft located quai de Jemmapes.</div>
<div>Created by two Agents: Laurence Tordjman @LT2 and Anne Marie Gardinier @AMG, this third edition gathered the most talented photographers represented by agencies. Therefore, creatives, art buyers and media producers were there to discover new talent and see those they already now.</div>

<p>Last night the Elegant, Wild and Vibrant hotel Renaissance République celebrated their first birthday! For this special occasion they recieve Kouka, Sifat, Erell, Ernesto Novo, and Ezk for a street art performance, dedicated to WWF. During the night, guests could also watch « by R » painting in live a hudge golden tree on the facade of the hotel, in a black room there was sessions of light painting with re one, and a live music set by Elvinci&amp;Co. A great way to discover this beautiful hotel, located at 40 rue René Boulanger, Paris 10e.</p>

For the occasion we brought friends along on stage, Dope djs sets by Jan &amp; Margaux and  Megaforce and a sweet live by gorgeous Clara Luciani.<br />
A gnarly spot by the Canal Saint Martin, loads of barely underaged cuties, cool kidz, drunk friends and the 10DAYS team wasted as F.ck (thx to them by the way Jan, Jane, Hugo, Shehan, Victor) … A hell of a night<br />
(Sorry Guys, we couldn’t invite everybody due to the spot lack of capacity, that’s a rain check)</p>

<p>The notion of a long boozy lunch is about as Australian as a game of cricket on Christmas. In Paris, however lunchtime has a well-observed time frame of 12.30-14.00pm. So when friends from home come to visit they are often shocked to find they are being shown the restaurant <i>sortie </i>well before the sozzling has started. Luckily (or perhaps not so for the establishment) I can now direct them to Haï Kaï; the hip new Canal-side restaurant that opens its doors from 10am til midnight, 6 days a week.</p>

<p>Haï Kaï (a reference to a form of traditional Japanese verse) is the new venture by the fabulously diverse threesome, chef Amélie Darvas (ex Bristol, Meurice, Ami Jean), foodie/wine connoisseur/photographer Gaby Benicio and comedian/interior decorator Elsa Kikoïne.</p>
<p>Don’t be fooled by the tagged-up façade – the sleek, light-filled interior is all hardcore <a href="http://www.vogue.com.au/fashion/trends/what+is+normcorer,30155">normcores</a> sipping Chablis and eavesdropping on the open kitchen. Indeed Haï Kaï has all the elements of a successful bobo hangout with its Scandi design, delicious, light, innovative flower-topped dishes and peonies on the counter in as many shades as there are styles of Nike Air Max under the tables.</p>

<p>Darvas serves up ever-changing dishes that are equally as stunningly on the palate as they are on the plate. We devoured our delightful prix-fixe lunch menu (€17 for two courses or €23 for three), which included a serving of juicy tender pork with the most incredibly moreish mustard mash, line-caught mackerel and a mouthwatering coconut lime crème brûlée, while basking in the sun filled room overlooking Canal Saint Martin.  Beautiful, unpretentious food, in a stylish, welcoming space – Haï Kaï is indeed a welcome addition to the canal-side community.</p>

<p>Sometimes life doesn&#8217;t turn out the way you planned it. Sometimes, you grow up, land the 9 to 5 job like you&#8217;re supposed to and realize you&#8217;re nowhere you wanted to be. Or maybe you like what you do, but you find yourself daydreaming of giving it all up and opening up your own restaurant in Paris. It takes balls to do something like that.</p>
<p>And in the case of former mÃ©tro-boulot-dodoers turned Parisian restauranteurs SalomÃ©e Vidal and JÃ©rÃ©mie Kanza, they&#8217;re the kind of balls you eat.</p>
<p>What usually gets thrown into a bed of spaghetti noodles or threaded onto Yakitori skewers at your local Jap is now a stand-alone commodity at the first of its kind, self-named restaurant Balls on rue Saint-Maur.</p>
<p>The all-balls menu (or if you&#8217;re on the prude side, the politically correct word in French is &#8216;boulette&#8217;) is dedicated to 5 different recipes, four of which are meat-based (beef, lamb and pork of French origin or chicken from Belgium) and one vegetarian (eggplant and chickpeas).</p>
<p>SalomÃ©e and JÃ©rÃ©mie, who each grew up with a mutual affinity for boulettes, devised the menu themselves, using traditional family recipes and tested out new ones, highlighting international flavors.</p>

<p>The balls come in servings of 5, nestled in a bed of the homemade sauce of your choice (tomato- or yogurt-based). Melded together with bread crumbs and egg, the grilled meatballs are firm on the outside, soft and moist on the inside and properly seasoned and spiced.</p>
<p>Perfect for group feasts, order one of each flavor to share, and raid the varied collection of sides, including lentilles with feta and courgette, mashed sweet potatoes, mushroom risotto, creamy polenta or a crunchy salad of endives and citrus fruits.</p>
<p>The beef version livened up with flat-leaf parsley and onions was dignified of its bestseller status, particularly when enrobed in the tomato sauce, which we sopped up dry with the accompanying crusty baguette slices. A side of the mashed sweet potatoes made for more dipping pleasure.</p>
<p>We also tested the tasty lamb balls, laced with cilantro and pine nuts and more suited to the creamy yogurt herb sauce. The mushroom risotto was just right as a rich, filling complement.</p>
<p>The drink menu is short and sweet, composed of natural wines, craft beers and original â€˜Ballsâ€™ cocktails.</p>

<p>Stop in for the economical lunch menu at 13,50 euros which includes a bowl of balls, sauce, a side and soft drink, or opt for the 8-euro meatball sammy made with tomato sauce, herbed butter and roquette.</p>
<p>The place is already packed for dinner, so be sure to call ahead and reserve. If not, get your balls to go.</p>
<p>And in what might be a surprisingly bonne nouvelle for the dudes in Paris, it turns out chicks dig balls, or at least that&#8217;s the impression you get when surveying the compact resto filled with tables of cute girls, happily indulging in the round delicacy (while probably comparing them to yours).</p>
<p>So go on, grow a pair and give Balls a try. At the very least, we can credit the place with giving a whole new meaning to the phrase &#8216;Eat my balls&#8217; &#8212; pun intended.</p>

<p>The rest is a mix of â€œthereâ€™s kale in itâ€ dishes and some fattening Frenchie food, like the aligot &amp; saucisse de morteau (basically, a potato/cheese purÃ©e with sausages). Which was what my American fellow ordered, despite his claims about his new diet: â€œDid you know that drinking beer is basically just sipping sugar?â€ Donâ€™t try that line of thinking with aligot!, I thought.</p>

<p>Every single detail in this place seems to be imported from a hip street in Melbourne (where the owners are from) and it is very cosy indeed: great coffee, high-fiving waiters and polished decoration. The bread comes from the bakery next door, â€œDu pain et des idÃ©es.â€ Their baker, Christophe Vasseur, was sitting right next to me&#8211;a friendly table, no? The sign outside announced: â€œGreat food and sexy chefs.&#8221; The open kitchen was a good way to check in, but I came home smelling like crispy bacon.</p>
<p>*We shared the same big table, so he would not mind me reporting some of his words.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p dir="ltr">Paris would be a dull place without Middle Eastern cuisine, not to mention a barren wasteland in the way of late-night snacks. Whether it&#8217;s Turkish, Lebanese, Persian, Armenian or of other similar origin, it&#8217;s a no-fail option that not only tastes good but also serves multiple other purposes.</p>
<p dir="ltr">For starters, it&#8217;s a satisfying diversion from everyday bistro grub that your mom or any cookbook dummy could make. It&#8217;s a great takeout option when you don&#8217;t feel like cooking and want to eat at home or on the go. And it has special absorption properties for last night&#8217;s alcohol in the form of grilled, meaty protein, marinated veggies, creamy sauces and fluffy pita or Lavash flatbread to sop it all up.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The only downside is after eating said meals, you often go home with a food baby and the subsequent need to unbutton your jeans and take a catnap on the couch for digestion.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Leave it to two pretty, savvy French-Armenian women to introduce their lighter yet equally flavorful interpretation of eastern Mediterranean dishes in the form of appetizing mezzÃ©s at their appropriately named Canal Saint Martin outpost, Mezz.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Following in the street-food footsteps of its neighborhood brothers from other mothers (ie., The Sunken Chip, El Guacamole, etc.), Mezz is your new sidewalk Canal cantine, with minimalist modern dÃ©cor, plenty of sitting room for crappy-weather days and menu prices that won&#8217;t pressure you into prioritizing whether you should indulge or skip it and save your bar money.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Compose your meal according to your hunger on a scale of one to four mezzÃ©s chosen from five categories of homemade dips, savory Phyllo pastries, assorted salads, meatballs and marinated mini brochettes.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Co-owners Nairi Kurdoghlian and Laurie Afar will be your friendly hosts, guiding you through their street food universe composed of both classic and revisited dishes alike, including their shared favorite, the TaboulÃ© Oh La La, a traditional green tabouleh recipe, or their invented Boeuf Graffiti, a Phyllo pastry stuffed with beef, melted Halloumi cheese and piment d&#8217;Espelette.</p>
<p dir="ltr">They&#8217;ve also downsized gut-heavy falafel sammies to bite-size portions and emphasize the power of the â€˜bouletteâ€™ with zingy beef meatballs prepared with fresh herbs, onions and allspice or chicken meatballs made with mint, lemon and roasted pine nuts.</p>
<p dir="ltr">If you&#8217;re a perpetually indecisive eater, choose one of the composed mezzÃ© combos that let you taste around the menu, or if you&#8217;re with a group, order Le Grand Mix for sharing.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Greek yogurt with custom toppings, Portuguese Natas and fresh fruit round out the menu dessert-wise, while the drink list includes bottled Greek or Armenian beer and a small yet quality wine selection. Detoxers can drink bio LÃ¸v Organic tea, house lemonade, or the Tan, a salty yogurt-based Armenian specialty drink.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p dir="ltr">Rooftop bars in Paris are a rare commodity, so when one pops up it&#8217;s like a golden crumb to a flock of pigeons. It&#8217;s no surprise then that the relatively new Le Perchoir (it opened under the radar in mid-July) has quickly become the it watering hole of la rentrÃ©e, attracting pretty birds and their flocks from all over the city, by chirping-of-mouth alone.</p>
<p>Â Go there for a night when you want to rub shoulders with industry types, fashion hounds, laidback locals and fun-loving bobos who are all bored with the same-old same-old spots in its genre.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The tented wraparound bar brings back nostalgic memories of les vacances and is manned by friendly buddies of co-owner Adrien Boissaye. They&#8217;ll pour you whatever you need to get yourself back into Paris-mode, whether it&#8217;s Corsican beer, organic wine or legit mixed drinks made with top-quality liquors, and they&#8217;ll do it all with a smile, putting away your fears of elevated egos despite the high altitude.</p>

<p dir="ltr">If you get there early enough (the sooner the better), there&#8217;s plenty of space to grab a table and a seat on any of the refurbished chairs, benches or cozy couches, and the industrial structure is softened by kitschy-chic dÃ©co, ample plant life and relaxed tunes. You almost feel like you&#8217;re escaping to the next Hollywood film set with a panoramic view of Paris, coupled with an easy ambiance for a chilled night out with your crew or a casual tÃªte-Ã -tÃªte.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Throw in some small plates of pata negra (Iberian ham), LozÃ¨re veal tacos and the upcoming addition of mini burgers and New-York-style lobster sammies to tide over your tipsy hunger pangs, and you&#8217;ve got yourself a recipe for a 7th heaven hangout on the 7th floor of a nondescript office building in the otherwise hit-or-miss Oberkampf area.</p>
<p dir="ltr">If you feel like splurging, reserve a table at the cozy indoor restaurant (one level below) for a 42-48 euro tasting menu concocted by chef BenoÃ®t Dumas who changes it up daily with provincial-inspired dishes served tapas style &#8212; special mention for the hand-cut potato crisps topped with slices of perfectly seared tuna and spicy mayo and the Sunday beef ribs paired with seasonal veggies and hand-cut fries. With the resto&#8217;s NYC ambiance to counter the Parisian skyline above, the equation for seamless seduction is complete : Full stomach + 360Â° view of Paris + drinks = high potential for post-dinner coquetry.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Don&#8217;t be discouraged by the falling leaves and cold weather creeping its way in because there are plans for a huge fireplace on the terrace (for heating and wood-fired pizza-making purposes), outdoor heaters, fleece blankets and the addition of a bar on restaurant level with a carte de cocktails that will be sure to provide you with all the boozy warmth you need to survive until the beaux jours return.</p>

<p>I had always assumed that Philadelphia cheese (and Bruce Springsteen) came from Philadelphia.  I was wrong on both counts. I had also assumed that a philly cheesesteak actually contained Philadelphia cheese. I, thankfully, was also wrong about that. Â And I had definitely assumed that if anyone were ever to make a philly cheesesteak in Paris, it would probably be &#8220;frenchified&#8221; in the same way as curry, tacos and sushi (which bizarrely does often actually contain Philadelphia cheese).</p>
<p>And boy was I wrong about that.</p>

<p>Following in the footsteps of other Parisian food trucks, the always delicious, ever-popular mobile burger joint Le Camion qui Fume&#8217; has set up a stationary restaurant that serves, amongst other things, a phenomenal philly cheesesteak.</p>
<p>Freddie&#8217;s Deli &#8211; the charming, laid-back, all-American Belleville eatery &#8211; opened its aqua blue doors last month, and despite the August exodus, has had a steady stream of patrons ever since.  But, with a sandwich&#8217; menu offering fillings like homemade pastrami with choucroute and thousand island dressing, shredded pork with guacamole and spicy cheese, tuna fillet with chipotle and crudités, and parmesan aubergine gratin with smoked cheese &#8211; I am not at all surprised.</p>
<p>I had the <i>Freddie from Philly</i> cheesesteak (with the spice it up option&#8217;) &#8211; fine slices of perfectly cooked entrecote steak nestled in amongst a mélange of diced, grilled peppers, onions and aubergine, topped with a spicy chipotle mayonnaise and replete with melted provolone which oozed in stringy goodness out the sides of a light, soft crust hoagie.</p>
<p>It was unbelievable.</p>

<p>And then there&#8217;s the Goodman &#8211; which should really be called the Greatman &#8211; with its high-rise stack of pickled-on-premises pastrami, cornichons and American mustard lounging in between slices of rye bread from boulanger extraordinaire Gontran Cherrier.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s more, there is Brooklyn lager in the fridge, refillable soda on tap, coleslaw and Tyrells chips on the side and a washbasin to wipe that cheesy provolone grin off your face.</p>
<p>Oh and did I mention they do an oreo cookie cheese-cake, with a ridiculously dense cream cheese oreo filling, a thick oreo base that will break your plastic fork and a mini oreo on top? It would have been rude not to.</p>
<p>I do love a good food truck â€“ there is something thrilling about finding the next location, waiting in the inevitable line and braving the elements for a stand out, stand-up burger.Â  But when cheesesteak and cheesecake are served up with comfortable chairs, speedy service and refillable iced tea, the immoveable feast at Freddie&#8217;s Deli is pretty appealing too.</p>

Make it a menu with the obligatory &#8220;chips&#8221; (thick-cut the way they should be and in generous portions), mushy peas (a purÃ©e of peas garnished with fresh herbs that goes surprisingly well with the rest), and a fizzy English beverage (Ben Shaws Cream Soda, Vimto, Lilt, etc.) or beer to wash down your mouthfuls of crispy, salty indulgence.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Other interesting menu choices include fish nuggets &#8212; monkfish cheeks coated in the signature house breading, fried English sausages, the &#8220;Chip Butty&#8221; &#8212; aka a fry sandwich (yes, you read that right), and side items that are apparently de rigueur to accompany your British grub : house tartar sauce and vinegar-marinated onions and eggs. We didn&#8217;t try the eggs, but there are jars of them lining the back wall, if that should help strike your fancy&#8230; Or raid the jars of English bonbons below, if you prefer sweet over sour.</p>

You also have the signature toy robot on the edge of the counter with an empty brewski under his arm, one of three bottled Brooklyn Brewery beers you can order to go with your grub.</p>
<p dir="ltr">So skip the sad, generic fast-food alternative of two Knackers and Emmental microwaved in a stale baguette, and hit up Hutch&#8217;s for kosher beef from a trusted butcher in Le Marais, pillowy buns and a smattering of authentic condiments to choose from that will leave you panting for more.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Take, for example, its unrivaled liquor list with 80 different types of rare, aged whisky as well as tequila, gin, rum, bourbon, etc. that you can order straight up in three different volumes. Or you can play it sage with a drink from the original and varied cocktail list concocted by Ludo, the owner (also of the nearby Le Cannibale CafÃ©), in collaboration with a veteran bartender from Experimental.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Try the Solera Sour made with whisky, sherry, anise maple syrup, lemon, orange and egg whites or the signature JosÃ©phine with yellow chartreuse, calvados, lime, absinthe and grapefruit zest. They&#8217;re a steal at 10 euros each. If you&#8217;re more of a wino, choose from any one of the quality reds or whites stored in the cave below the transparent dance floor, and soak it all up with a plate of house fries or crusty baguette aux cÃ©rÃ©ales with charcuterie and Manchego cheese (or any of the inventive small plates available) so you can make it a late-night affair.</p>
<p dir="ltr">With modern and cozy decor, you can post up in the front room at one of the high-top tables or sip your poison at the bar. For a more intimate feel, slip into the back, where there&#8217;s a second bar, more tables, and the dance floor preceded by the sounds of reggae ska and rock mounting as the night wears on. Those with nicotine cravings can satisfy their needs in the fumoir hidden behind a mirror in the wall.</p>
<p dir="ltr">A word to the wise, the bar is partnered with the neighboring tattoo parlor Le Sphinx. If you&#8217;re having any ideas about getting yourself inked, make your decision before you begin liquor tasting. Although, even if you do wake up with whats-her-name forever engraved on your shoulder, you can be relieved to know that the tattoo salon is hygienically sound, the artists are pros, and you get cardmember access to Monday soirÃ©es at JosÃ©phine filled with Trap muzik, hip hop and dancehall beats, guest bartenders and 20% off the entire menu. Hey, it&#8217;s better than a cheap hangover from a bad night in Pigalle any day.</p>

<p>That is until I found myself polishing off a bottle of Lacrima di morro dâ€™Alba whilst devouring mouth-wateringly fresh <i>mozzarella di bufala </i>at restaurant/cocktail bar CERVO.Â  Opened only 2 weeks ago by Sardinian Francesco Puddu, who previously worked at Grazie, CERVO brings simple, fresh Italian produce to a delightfully quaint little corner of the already gastronomically blessed 11<sup>th</sup> arrondissement.</p>
<p>With its flower embellished tables, wood clad bar, dangling light installations and the token deer antlers that seem to be adorning every hip restaurant wall these days, CERVO makes for a chic and charming little oasis from the bustling streets.</p>
<p>The menu is short and simple, think <i>caprese</i> of amazingly soft buffalo mozzarella with <i>coeur de boeuf</i> tomatoes and homemade pesto, <i>cannolo </i>of prosciutto stuffed with ricotta mousse on a bed of fresh rocket, risotto with clams and homemade pasta.</p>
<p>Go there for a Campari cocktail and a bite of antipasti, or like us, go there for a cocktail, some wine, some food and some more wine, and leave with your top button undone and a big smile on your face.</p>

Romain Tischenko, ex Top Chef 2010, offers you the perfect balance between simplicity and creativity though an exciting experience : his seven courses degustation menu. Between deconstruction of traditional cuisine, market-based products from some of the best French producers and a bit of japanese inspirations, the menu changes every night, depending on his mood.<br />
To match the food, good organic wines from indie winemakers, all served by Romain&#8217;s brother Maxime, in a friendly service and good atmosphere.<br />
We would recommend making reservations 2 weeks in advance, foodies have already taken up residence there.</p>

<p>Then, when you&#8217;ll have a look at the menu, you will inevitably feel better, no matter what. Homemade &#8220;soups-of-the-day&#8221;, almond butter and feta cream sandwiches, mashed avocado on toasts, carrot cake, traditional scones&#8230; all washed down with homemade lemonade, Chai Latte, LSD (latte, soymilk andÂ dandelion-infused honey), or their quality coffee specially roasted by Custom.</p>
<p>Be careful though, the Aussies make you feel so at home that once you&#8217;re inside, it&#8217;s hard to leave.</p>

<p>Le Coq is inspired by the Andy Warhol Factory in terms of its creative warehouse vibe and furniture, but to remind us that we are still in Paris, the posters on the wall show figures from Parisian pop culture, like Catherine Deneuve or Carla Bruni. Cocktail lovers in the area will enjoy the menu, which has its roots in French heritage: Absinthe based cocktails or a new version of Kir Royal.Â For the music, le Coq brings together the tradition and glamour of the French â€œchanteuseâ€ with the brash energy of the NY underground music scene&#8211;jazz and Serge Gainsbourg along with some Grace Jones and Parisian Disco. Away from the daily Parisian hustle, this one-month-old spot makes for a tranquil Italian tesoro.Â You might feel like you ventured to Venice as the breeze sweeps off the water into this Ã©picerie over the bridge. Here, a bubbly French and Italian staff welcome patrons warmly and their musical chit-chat fills up the place. Vibrant retro and pop art deco pleases the eyes, but to please the mouth try their carpaccio salad, paninis or tasting platters of cold cut meats and cheeses. The gourmet zest and charm of Italy oozes with freshness&#8230; and just as impressive as their wall of wine is their wall of vinyl records. To treat the mouth and ears equally, eat to the soundtrack of 1940&#8217;s jazz as the staff takes turns manning the turntables. Please your palette while the records spin but for sure you will be back again!</p>

They&#8217;ll prepare you big plates of all the good things they have for you to nibble : organic taramasalata, &#8220;jambon de Paris&#8221; (ham) that actually comes from Paris, smoked tuna, cute mini vegetables and a selection of cheeses that &#8211; along with some fresh bread, olive oil and crushed Brazilian pepper &#8211; will make you forget about the oath you took on your scale last week to never eat fat again/ever/in your whole life. Yep. Wines by the glass start at 4â‚¬ and bottle 20â‚¬, and plates range from 5â‚¬ for tiny appetites to 18â‚¬ to share with friends.</p>
<p>Oh and FYI, Inaro means &#8220;I cultivate&#8221; in latin. So go cultivate friends, and see happiness grow.</p>

Everything is gluten-free, so you finally have an excuse to ask out that hottie with the raging allergies. Order some pastries to eat along the banks of the Canal, or sit down, stay awhile. Thereâ€™s also a pantry/epicerie, whose shelves are lined with healthy, gluten-free products like cereal, pasta, soba noodles and organic tea. But why not be a little bad while youâ€™re there? These baked goods are so good theyâ€™re barely legal.</p>

The recently opened tearoom La Chambre aux Oiseaux (â€œThe Bird Roomâ€) in the near of Canal Saint-Martin was given its name because of the many birds that used to perch on the windowsills and transfers us into the countryside atmosphere with a cool Parisian twist, which comes so right after a long winter. Well,Â ifÂ oneÂ swallow doesÂ not make a summer,Â thenÂ twoÂ certainlyÂ will!</p>
<p>The setting isÂ decoratedÂ with retro-decoÂ vintageÂ furniture from theÂ grandmotherÂ of theÂ ownerÂ â€“ cute tables, mismatched chairs and soft cushions make it a perfect place for the lovers of the romantic nostalgia, though thatâ€™s not the only thing the place has to offer. The menu includes two revised breakfast options -Â &#8220;breakfastÂ in town&#8221; (toasts, muffins, jamsÂ &#8230;)Â andÂ &#8220;breakfastÂ in the country&#8221;Â (special bread, honey, platesÂ of cheese andÂ bacon&#8230;), a savory brunch served on weekends, rich assortment of homemade drinks and tasty dishes that differ daily, depending on the mood of the â€œbirdsâ€â€¦ Every time you come something has changed because here you are at home.</p>
<p>The huge panoramic windows are perfect for people-watching while offering a view over the neighborhood and letting the place stay enlightened despite the dark floral wallpaper. The ambience is very relaxed and unassuming, the mixed crowd consists of children who scribble, Asian bloggers, young people working on their computers and Americans who gather forÂ Â a milkshake du moment. One could definitely stay here for hours without noticing the time passing, while flipping through the pages of the offered antique books or sipping hot chocolate from the family porcelain.</p>
<p>By creating a delicious and light cuisine in a trendy rustic-chic atmosphere the owners show us how to enjoy simple pleasures ofÂ Â Parisian life. The place is one to watch out for summer days, because who knew one needs so little for happiness?</p>

The guys of beloved canteen Le Cambodge are sticking to that mantra with Le Petit Cambodge, which follows in a line of concept restaurants popping up based on one signature dish. The charming staff at this new joint is set to make <em>bo bun</em>â€”that perfect balance of hot and cold, sweet and spicy, tangy and savouryâ€”the latest food craze. Weâ€™re talking about a delicately complex blend of fragrant herbs, crisp vegetables, crunchy fried spring rolls, and that incontournable, pungent <em>nem</em> sauce. The menu at Le Petit Cambodge also has shrimp chips, a nice sampling of Asian beers, a few exotic desserts, and even some vegetarian options for that one crusty bobo-bio buddy. Fast, easy, and relatively inexpensive, this is the place to go for canal-goers needing to satisfy their noodle cravings. Maybe youâ€™ll catch the Ten Days in Paris crew scarfing down a bowl of salty goodnessâ€¦</p>
