Rumors say we’re about to experience the coldest winter of the century, but this definitely won’t scare Joana Althabegoïty Vincens and Chloé Wilk Martin –the Supra showroom they run is indeed the warmest and most welcoming around. The girls have been working together for five years: passing by Surface to Air and now developing Supra’s vibe in France.
In the heart of fashion week, they share with us some of their favourite hangout places in Paris: which makes twice as much places to discover than usual!
Chloé
Buttes Chaumont
Well, I just enjoy chilling there, especially near the small lake. B.Y.O.B is the rule.
Chez Yu – 40 Rue de Belleville 75020 Paris
I guess I can call it my “cantineâ€. They serve a great banh mi sandwich…Order the “Special Yu” and it’s also a bargain.
L’entrée des Artistes – 8 Rue de Crussol 75011 Paris
This restaurant has the best wine selection, along with excellent cocktails. But I would actually recommend their whisky and their tasteful homgrown products.
Le Perchoir – 14 rue Crespin du Gast 75011 Paris
A stunning rooftop that is beginning to gain attention, pay a visit before it becomes permanently crowded…
Spa L’Echappée – 64, rue de la Folie Méricourt 75011 Paris
The glass roof makes this place unique and enjoyable. I usually brunch there, then go for the massage + hammam + exfoliation program! Simply essential.
My 3 staples:
– 1 Doliprane 1000
– The “Club chauffeur†app (on the iphone ready to go)
– A bunch of Supra lighters, because people smoke three times as much during fashion weeks and you never know who you are going to run into who needs a light..
Joana
Le Progrès – 1 Rue de Bretagne 75003 Paris
It feels like home, especially when sharing a bootle of rosé with friends!
Â
L’ilôt – 4, rue de la Corderie 75003 Paris
On this restaurant located on the famous “Carreau du Templeâ€, I usually order their awesome seafood platter and some white wine.
Le Parisien – 337 rue Saint-Martin, 75003 Paris
This futuristic restaurant belongs to the team from “Chez Jeannette†and is right by my street.
Café de la Poste – 64 Rue De Saintonge 75003 Paris
Many of my memories from Surface to Air are linked with this little bar on rue de Turenne!
Café Chinois – 7 Rue de Béarn 75003 Paris
Much of the Asian culinary savoir-faire is represented here. When I partied too hard, Ienjoy taking the next lunch here with my friends, to ease our conscience.
My 3 staples:
– 2 Doliprane 500
– My High heels for the night
– A pair of black SUPRA Owens for the day
