The Brachfeld Gallery surprised us nicely by inviting us at Kacey Johansing’s concert. Described by The Bay Bridged as “gorgeous acoustic pop”, this San Francisco-based musician creates songs with aerial melodies and lush harmonies, weaving together elements of folk, jazz, pop and classical music.

She will be opening for Kings of Convenience on May 23rd in Moscow, which shows her appeal and talent.

The showcase was followed by a DJ-set by Simone Rubi, who happens to be the designer of Johansing’s beautiful album cover.
