1. It’s not a place in particular, more of a feeling. In summer I love to have a coffee on the terrace at a cafe, especially in the morning sun. Get a coffee, a cigarette and watch the world start it’s activities for the day. The alternative is a very quick coffee standind at the bar, it let you take a break for 2 minutes to concentrate on what you have to do.

2. It’s not very original but the Eiffel Tower is not bad! I went there for the first time with the Australian group Midnight Juggernauts. I met them on their first trip to Paris and after a coffee on the terrace as described above ; ), I suggested that we go the Eiffel Tower. They were very enthusiastic and so was I! On the top floor the view is amazing, but I don’t recommend it to the “elevator phobic” .

3. Not a place but more of a question that I can’t answer: right bank or left bank, which is the best? The atmosphere between the two sides is completely different. When I’m on the left the bank I always feel more relaxed and like I’m on a little vacation.

4. When I play in Paris or just generally at the end of a night out .. I’m hungry .. and I can’t help but always go to the same Kebab shop, Place Pigalle. I’ve been going there for a long time and it’s a kind of ritual. I like that there is always a familiar smell in that place and in the early morning, kebab in hand I feel invincible.

5. It’s not in Paris but not very far either, The Saint Cloud Park. Its a great place when you want to get some fresh air and relax. On the “rond de la balustrade” on the Sèvres side, there is a superb view over the whole city of Paris.
