At Brachfeld Gallery, openings are always attended by the nicest people, who often also happen to be the hypest. This was no exception this time with the celebration of Cecilia Bortoletti. In 2012, the famous Villa Noailles, asked her to shoot the surroundings of Hyères, through the prism of her vision. Under the direction of Jean-Pierre Blanc, the Villa Noailles is indeed renowned for its crucial role in discovering or promoting talents in fashion and photography. Bortoletti used multiple techniques to take photographs of places, which are usually not considered interested enough to be shot. She managed to envelop us in a surreal and poetical atmosphere, and we love the idea that we get here the unique chance to see these prints in Paris… Special thanks to Edward Brachfeld, Jean-Pierre Blanc and Audrey Bertounesque.
