A few nights ago, Evok was celebrating a pre opening / construction party of SINNER, its first hotel to lay claim to a lifestyle of relaxed luxury. Lucky guest got the chance to discover its intense personality which combinine luxury hospitality standards with disruptive identity. This 43 rooms hotel will be design by Tristan Auer (Le Crillon, Les Bains) and will be up next July!

Few nights ago, was Maison Martin Morel paris store first anniversary. Created in 1896 by Martin Morel, the brand was originally a textile printing factory. It used to produce its own printed textile until its closure in 1982. Today, Emmanuel Foyatier, grandson of the last owner of the company, decided to revisit the textile archives of his family to create a new contemporary brand. A brand that seeks to offer unique print pattern for woman apparel and house collection. For this event, the brand invited everyone that helped her make this year a great success; journalists, fashion people, interior designers.. All parisiens print lovers were gathered for a fun event to celebrate their love for pattern!
Maison Martin Morel store is located in the trendy north marais ; 12 rue Commines, 75003 Paris.

Admit it. Whether you have a lover or not, you gotta be somewhat creative on Valentine’s Day. Some people might even feat this dayâ€¦ Tsumori Chisato, the renowned Japanese brand, whose eponym stylist once studied with Issey Miyake, was definitely not concerned.

They featured beautiful creations of the photographer and visual artist Stephane Fedorowsky, made to emphasize the clothing collections. As for the selected guests, they were treated with refined heart-shaped canapÃ©s and champagne.

Tucked behind 404 and Andy Wahloo is a restaurant which is a far cry from the usual identikit Parisian bistro. *DerriÃ¨re*, opened by Mourad Mazouz, offers a kind of “dining at home” experience. Although most of us go out in order to feel like we’re not eating at home, and dinner at DerriÃ¨re is more
like visiting an eccentric kleptomaniac’s house. You might be seated in the main room with its kitchen table, comfy sofas and even a ping pong table which offers amusement between courses, even more so when the ball lands in someone’s *joue de boeuf bourguignon*. Or you could choose to eat in the cosy den, or even the bedroom, perched on the edge of a mattress. The roll top bath used as a handbasin is a nice touch, but the best bit of all is the jumbled mishmash of furniture and odd curios in the hidden smoking room, accessed through a secret door in a mirrored wardrobe… if you can find it,
that is.

Just opened this week, this little canteen, located in le Marais, serves authentic Mexican food and fresh tacos. But the real fun is that when you finish stuffing yourself with guacamole, there is a hidden and very cozy clandestine bar in the back serving elaborate cocktails and many sorts of tequila. With this concept reminding us of la Esquina in NYC, we are really happy now to have a place where we can have few quesadillas before chain drinking shots of tequila.

Next week marks the opening of la GaitÃ© Lyrique, the new cultural space dedicated to all kinds of digital culture and creation (music, graphic design, video games, cinema…). At first we thought it might beÂ another cultural alibi to spend another shopping-and-beers-at-la-Perle afternoon, but the project seems very innovative and we are looking forward to visiting the place.
The 9500m2 will be divided between a video game space, two concert halls, an auditorium, exhibition spaces, 2 cafe/bars, and one shop. The programming, focused on young and emerging artists, will include thematic exhibitions, concerts, live performances, and regular visits from music labels, festivals, city or avant-garde media.
