The stunning HÃ´tel Jules&Jim and its gallery were hosting the opening of L.A SPLEEN, featuring the photographs of Tasya van Ree. Lyrical, sensual and at the same time extremely powerful, you’d better keep an eye on the works of this skyrocketing artist. And don’t forget your sangria on the way. Jules & Jim Hotel seemed to have it all: a fancy cocktail bar, an ideal location in le Marais, a partenership with ubertrendy Klay, a terrace for the summer days, and of course comfy rooms. To keep the buzz alive they’ve decided to take it a step further, and thanks to DContract they’re opening… a pop up movie theatre in the basement.

All summer long the hotel will screen classics from Truffaut’s Jules & Jim (of course) to Raging Bull. And because even if culture is cool we always need some fuel for these sunny days, cocktails will be offered after the projections.

After many secret/non-official/friends-only get togethers over the past fewÂ months at Hotel Jules & Jim, finally came the time of the grand opening forÂ the most buzzed-about hotel in Paris on Thursday, February 9th.Hot music and cold drinks at the bar, chilly weather and hot soup in theÂ courtyard, fireplace and comfy armchairs, it was definitely the 2nd bestÂ place to be last week, right after your bed, under a massive duvet.

Jules & Jim is a classic Nouvelle Vague movie by Francois Truffaut. It was also one of the most awaited openings of the beginning of 2012. Hyped by events held during the construction, including a Concrete Party and a party for the skate shoe brand Supra, l’hotel Jules & Jim is finally here for real. Located in le Marais close to la GaitÃ© Lyrique and conceived as a meeting place, you will be welcomed by the staff (dressed in Lacoste polos and Supra shoes) to sleep in one of the 23 rooms, have breakfast where a name is dropped after each dish on the menu, or just have a glass of Champagne for a special event.

Rooms are from 180â‚¬ for the most basic room to 550â‚¬ a night for a duplex. The hotel also includes special offers with partners, such as the over trendy gym club Klay.
