“J’aurai du faire du droit, tho Daddy taught me Djihad” is a proposition of artist Safia Bahmed-Schwartz. The exhibition is consists of two parts, one magistrale through a multi media installation in the prestigious Cours Vitrée of the Beaux Arts de Paris, and the one at the Of Nazareth gallery in the center of Paris, near République. The singer, writer, tatouist, drawer, video director, story teller showed a perfect mix of her work, her best videos and drawings, with the famous sentence “it was not erotic only the souvenir is” as a guiding theme, in English for the cinema cliché. And at this occasion she let us discover big screenshots of her own black ink and white erotic movie and her famous ceramic branded ashtrays at Of Nazareth. Once again she told us a story, mixed between reality, imaginaire collectif and her own life story, mixed between realness, fake and fantasy.
