Last Wednesday Impossible Project France hosted Israeli-French artist Jennifer Abessira’s first solo exhibition in France produced by Cohen & Schwartz Gallery. Based in Tel Aviv, Jennifer Abessira spent a six months residency at la Cité des Arts in Paris. Supported by Impossible Project, she decided to capture her parisian experience on instant film. La Tangente is also an homage to French culture, especially cinema, each work in the show bears the name of a Nouvelle Vague movie.
Based in Tel Aviv and Paris, Cohen & Schwartz supports young international rising artists by organising shows, each time in a different country. This is their second project in Paris. The show is curated by Laura Schwartz and runs through June 23.
